The Indianapolis Colts have found a way to provide fans with a way to send their well-wishes to head coach Chuck Pagano as well as provide a positive impact on his fight against leukemia by launching the CHUCKSTRONG campaign.
The Colts announced this week that Pagano had been diagnosed with a treatable form of leukemia and is currently in isolation in an Indianapolis hospital. He is not expected to return to full coaching duties this season.
Similar to cyclist Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG initiative, CHUCKSTRONG is a collection of items including wristbands and t-shirts whose proceeds will go to supporting leukemia research. Those who wish to send their well-wishes to the coach with cards and letters of support are asked not to send flowers or balloons and instead are asked to provide donations to the CHUCKSTRONG campaign.
Visit the Colts official website if you are interested in sending your support to coach Pagano and supporting leukemia research and supporting the CHUCKSTRONG campaign.
