The NFL is the most dominant sport in all of America, and it was catapulted to that when Ed and Steve Sabol started NFL Films.
A production company that changed the face of the league forever with its illustrious videos, sounds and sights.
It’s a sad day in the league, as multiple sources are reporting that NFL Films President, Steve Sabol has lost his 18-month battle with Brain Cancer at the age of 69.
Steve’s father, Ed worked his way to Canton and ended up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Steve should end up there as well.
NFL Films was a groundbreaking idea, and to this day they continue to give the fans a different look at things as they happen.
Sabol was a true NFL Pioneer, and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
The family has requested that any donations be sent to the Jefferson Foundation for Brain Tumor Research, c/o Lindsey Walker, 925 Chestnut Street, Suite 110, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
