Tulane safety Devon Walker suffered a broken neck and a collapsed lung when he collided with fellow teammate Julius Warmsley while trying to tackle Tulsa back Willie Carter on the final play of the first half of the college football game. After the collision, Walker rolled on his back, didn’t move and stopped breathing. Emergency medical services had to perform CPR to revive Walker on the field and a tracheotomy was performed to get him breathing again. The good news is that he is now in stable condition in St. Francis hospital according to the team doctor.
