Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning acknowledged to Jim Rome on the Rome show that his arm strength is not the same due to age and not surgeries
“I still have strength to recover, still have work to do,” Manning said. “I am 36 years old. My arm has a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns on it, so it’s probably not going to be the same as it was when it was 22, but I still think it can complete some passes. I can move the chains and hopefully get our offense into the end zone this year.”
Fortunately though, a big arm has never been a part of Manning’s game. It’s the borderline computer he has in his brain the helps him carve up defenses. If anything, that computer in his brain has gotten even smarter. Thus, don’t expect to see any fall off in his game.
