Amy Winehouse’s ex-husband is on life support just two weeks after the one-year anniversary of Winehouse’s death. The Sun reports that Winehouse’s ex-husband of two years, Blake Civil-Fielder(age 30), was found choking in bed after a night of drinking and drugs. Fielder was rushed to the hospital on Thursday with multiple organ failure. Doctors placed Fielder on life-support and into a medically induced coma. Fielder’s girlfriend Sarah Aspin, mother of their 15 month-old- son, told The Sun newspaper that “The doctors say they don’t know the prognosis. They said they put him in a coma to help him and due to infection.”
Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse, offered wishes of support to his former son- in- law.
Amy and Civil-Fielder married in a Miami Beach, FL ceremony on May 18, 2007 and divorced in August 2009. Throughout their marriage, their volatile relationship and reported drug abuse made headlines.
