Drake just can’t seem to win with this whole “executive producing Aaliyah’s new album”situation, can he? Drizzy, as you already know faced criticism from Timbaland as he expressed that him and Missy should be fully involved in any Aaliyah records, since they were two of the closest people to the beautiful R&B singer.
Now, after Drake releases ‘Enough Said‘ with Aaliyah’s vocals…hip hop fans have realized Drake isn’t just trying to “pay respect” to the late R&B singer, Aaliyah…he’s also trying to fuel the beef between him and singer/rapper, Chris Brown.
In the song, you will hear Drake state, “Selling under 150 you n****s got to be kidding–Is this even still a discussion?–Don’t you ever wake up disgusted?…”
Breezy’s ‘Fortune’ album sold just a bit over 134,000 in the first week, as Drake’s ‘Take Care’ album reached 600,000. Fans are extremely disappointed that Drizzy decided to take his beef with Chris Brown on a track where he should’ve been paying respect to Aaliyah…especially after he’s facing such controversy after not talking it over with the ones closest to her.
