Boxing champion Evander Holyfield is auctioning off his prize possessions including his bronze Olympic Medial he won at the 1984 summer games!
Also on the block: championship rings, belts, gloves, trunks and robes worn inside the ring, as well as the boxing gloves from the 1997 heavyweight bout a.k.a.“The Bite Fight” in which Mike Tyson bit off part of his ear. Plus, his 1962 Chevrolet Corvette and diamond jewelry including watches from Rolex, Cartier, and Patek Phillippe.
Holyfield hasn’t commented on reports that he is selling the items to pay off debt. But, his eviction in early June from his 109 room estate south of Atlanta is a sign of financial difficulties.
Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, California posted the auction items online. The auction is scheduled for Nov.30th.
Holyfield worked too hard to lose all his boxing memorabilia. We hope he can get it back.
