The Heat just got hotter! Forward, Rashard Lewis has decided to join the Miami Heat just days after the news of Ray Allen taking his talents to South Beach as well.
Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen were Seattle teammates for five seasons which will make it even easier for the two to adapt to “The Big Three”, (Bosh, Wade, James).
This is said to be a 2-yr deal, with the second being a player option. The Heat have offered Lewis minimum salary, which is $1.35 million a year but since Lewis agreed to a $13.7 million buyout with the Hornets, he’s not suffering too much with the pay.
