Linsanity took the NBA world by storm, and now Jeremy Lin has an opportunity laid out in front of him.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Undrafted Harvard Grad may be heading back to a team that waived him in the past, before he took on his surprising role in the Big Apple. Lin and the Rockets reportedly have agreed to an offer sheet that may be bringing Linsanity to Houston.

The report from Wojnarowski says that the terms of the deal are unknown, but it is expected that the offer sheet has a “poison pill” in it. That indicates that in the deal, the money is heavy in the later or last years, and significantly less in the first few years.

It is believed that the New York Knicks will match any offer for Jeremy Lin to keep him in New York. They have the right to exceed the salary cap to retain him, as Jeremy Lin was recently awarded Bird Rights.

If the Knicks match the offer, he’ll remain a Knick and play next to newly acquired veteran PG Jason Kidd. If not, he’ll have a new home in Houston.
