Above is the Mugshot of former NBA Great Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus.
The Central Florida Guard was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly getting into a heated argument with two women in an Embassy Suites parking lot. The charges filed were for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing justice. After the arrest, Police described the younger Jordan as ”very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative,” which probably explains his happy-go-lucky Mugshot.
Yahoo! Sports writes that this isn’t Marcus’ first time making headlines:
He cost Central Florida its shoe deal with adidas as a freshman when he refused to wear a brand that wasn’t Nike. He caused a stir in 2010 when he tweeted that he dropped $56,000 during a two-day spree at the Mirage Resort Casino in Las Vegas. And he famously propositioned a porn star via Twitter earlier this year before claiming that was a mistake.
The previous headlines haven’t had an impact on his Basketball career, but with this arrest, there may be some repercussions as it will most likely result in a criminal history. With his statistics nowhere near where his coaches and father might want them to be, UCF would probably like him to be working on his hoop game, rather than these activities that may end up getting him in more trouble.
As for the Elder Jordan, he’s busy trying to put together a winning NBA franchise, and this probably isn’t something he wanted on his to-do list.
