The NFL Network concluded it’s list of the NFL’s Top 100 players of 2012, and to no surprise the 2011-12 Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers was voted as the best player in the league.

Rodgers finished the season with 4,643 yards, 45 touchdowns and only six interceptions on 502 passing attempts, leading his team to an impressive 15-1 record.

The Packers incredible season fell short when they suffered a playoff loss to the eventual Super Bowl Champion New York Giants.

The Top 100 list has been heavily criticized, and it’s supposedly voted on by the players around the league. Rounding out the top ten were as follows:

  • 10. Patrick Willis, LB, 49ers
  • 9. Haloti Ngata, NT, Ravens
  • 8.Adrian Peterson, RB, Vikings
  • 7. Larry Fitzgerals, WR, Cardinals
  • 6.DeMarcus Ware, LB, Cowboys
  • 5. Darrelle Revis, CB, Jets
  • 4. Tom Brady, QB, Patriots
  • 3. Calvin Johnson, WR, Lions
  • 2. Drew Brees, QB, Saints
  • 1. The aforementioned Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers
