Amar’e Stoudamire of the New York Knicks might be known to some as a good guy and a role model as he hosts his annual Skills Academy Camp for kids, but behind the scenes he’s far from that.
Recently on Twitter a fan of the Knicks tweeted back at Amar’e after he tweeted about finishing up a workout. The fan said “You better come back a lot stronger and quicker to make up for this past season mannnnnn deadasss!!!” and apparantly Amar’e didn’t appreciate that, after a few hours Amar’e sent him a DM saying “Fuck You. I don’t have to do any thing fag,”
The fan tweeted out a photo of the DM and it’s quickly made it’s way around the internet:
C’mon Amar’e, if you’re going to treat fans like that, at least man-up and call them out publicly. This goes to show that nothing said on Twitter, whether “private” or not, can leak out there.
